How It Adapts

The blending is the part people skip, and it's the part that does the work. Give it the full twenty seconds.
Moisturise first
Adapt™ needs a little slip to move. Thirty seconds of moisturiser is the difference between it blending out and it sitting on top.
One or two pumps
It comes out pale. Dot it across the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin rather than pooling it in one place.
Blend, and keep blending
Twenty seconds with a damp sponge or your fingertips. The colour arrives while you work — stop early and you stop it mid-adapt.
It looks too pale at first. That is the formula mid-adapt, not a mismatch. Keep blending before you judge it.

The base carries pigment capsules that stay sealed until the friction of blending breaks them open. How much colour releases depends on how much you blend and the warmth of your own skin, so the same formula settles a little differently on each person. It is a real effect within a range — it is not magic, and it will not turn one bottle into forty shades.
No, and this is the most common message we get in the first week. Adapt™ is meant to look almost white in the bottle and for the first ten seconds on skin. The colour arrives during blending. Give it a full twenty seconds before you judge it.
Email us within 30 days and we refund you in full. You do not need to send the bottle back and it does not matter that you have opened it.
For a normal indoor day it is meaningful protection you were not getting before. For a day genuinely out in the sun it is not enough — wear a proper broad-spectrum sunscreen underneath and treat the SPF here as a bonus.
Light to medium, buildable. It evens tone, softens redness and blurs texture. It will not fully cover a dark spot on its own — use a concealer over the top for those.
Both, with a caveat each. Dry skin should moisturise first or it will cling to flaky patches. Oily skin should set the T-zone with a light powder or it can go shiny by mid-afternoon.
No. There is no added fragrance either, which is usually what upsets reactive skin. Patch test on your jaw before the first full application anyway.
